Thank goodness! Terry and Jack survived while I was out of town for 2 weeks. Aside from some bumps and bruises, there were no major mishaps while I was gone. It is nice to finally be home and able to enjoy the new house!
We are basically unpacked. There are a few boxes here and there, but we are finally living comfortably in our new house. Jack is adjusting well. Zoe, on the other hand, is not. She has had a hard time and has had some accidents in the house and its driving us nuts! Poor Zoe, she has no idea what has just happened. Hopefully she'll adjust soon! We've met quite a few neighbors and everyone is very friendly. So far, no kids Jack's age so that is a bummer.
Jack is starting to talk more. It is still somewhat unintelligible but it is so darn cute! He learned 'cracker' in no time. He says 'ca-ca'. Adorable! And he uses 'all done' all the time and actually appropriately! He's become a pro using his utensils. It isn't always the cleanest meal, but he loves to feed himself and usually doesn't let mommy or daddy near him with a fork or spoon. I guess that's part of the independence phase!
Well hopefully August will be a little less stressful and I will be able to get more pictures and video up on this site. So check back soon!
