Come on spring!
It's official, I'm on spring break! No big plans for spring break except hopefully getting a full day of scrapbooking in while the kids go to the babysitter. I also need to catch up on some reading, relax, spend some quality time with the kids, relax, clean the house, relax, catch up on some tv, relax...you get the picture. But realistically, will it all get done? Heck no! Hopefully I can just enjoy it.

Another Great Deal!
So this trip to Walgreens was even better than the last. Total before coupons: $41.41. Total after coupons: .13! That's right, only 13 cents! Is it strange that this kind of stuff excites me? Ok, maybe a litte.

Morning Star
Some of you may be aware of the problems we've had trying to get Maggie baptized in the Catholic church. Long story short, they wouldn't baptize her because we haven't "sent in our envelopes" aka given them money. Never once were we asked about how we wanted to raise our daughter in the church or anything so I was a little peeved. Granted we haven't been the best Catholics with attending church, but I still didn't think this was right.
So we all went to visit a new church this morning...Morning Star Church. It's a newer church, not a Catholic church, and has a lot of young families that attend. I've heard nothing but good things about the church and coincidently, we bought our house from the pastor of the church. The chuch has an amazing childrens program. The rooms for the kids were nicer than some preschools I've seen. We enjoyed the service and plan on going again. And Terry's favorite part...coffee is included! So we may have found a new church home...we shall see!

I Love Bargains!
So I'm a little addicted to couponing. Yes, I'm a dork. But I figure if I can get something super cheap or free, why not take advantage of that! So Walgreens had an awesome diaper deal last week. Basically I spent $5 on each pack of Huggies diapers and for every 3 packs I bought, I got $10 back to spend later! So I ended up with 18 packs of diapers and $60 back in Register Rewards.
So I just went to Walgreens to spend some of my "free" money. Total before coupons: $48.00. Total after coupons: $14.32. I LOVE IT!

A Year Has Come and Gone
Since it's been a year since my last update, I thought maybe...just maybe...I could try this again. Not so sure if it will last, but I'll give it a try (again). There is no way I can recap an entire year in one blog so let's consider this 'starting over'.
I'm up early today thanks to the 5:30am wake up call from Maggie. And that went along with the 1:30am wake up call. We've really got to work on that. That's a whole other blog. Oh yeah, and we can't forgot the 3:00am wake up call from Jack. That's pretty unusual, but luckily he went right back to sleep.
So in case you haven't noticed, we have a new addition to our family since my last blog. Our baby girl, Maggie, was born on August 23, 2008. She's totally different than Jack. She is the easiest baby (with the exception of the twice per night wakings). She's so happy all the time. She goes to sleep without crying...ever. Seriously, she doesn't make a peep when we lay her down to go to sleep. She's been a joy and she's already 6 months old! Time definitely goes so much faster with the second one.
It is now time to wake the kids. Let's see if I can go a little less than a year before my next post.
