August Has Come and Gone

So I've been a slacker. Things finally calmed down in August. I enjoyed a couple weeks off work and had a great time at home with Jack. We're finally completely settled in our house. Of course, there is always something we want to do to the house, but we can finally call it our home.

Terry's friend from college, Russell, and his wife, Becca, came to visit from Maryland over Labor Day weekend. Jack loved having more people to give him loads of attention. We had a great time at the Cardinal game, at Grant's Farm and BBQ-ing with our old neighbors, the Sasos.



Jack has become quiet the motor mouth. He is constantly learning new words and starting to put words together. He started gymnastics at the YMCA and already loves it! His favorites are somersaults and hanging on the bar. He hasn't quite figured out the balance beam yet. To him, its just another "curb" to jump off of.

Terry is leaving next week for Chicago for a training for work. He will be gone all week! This will be a long week! Luckily, Aunt Andrea is coming over on Wednesday night and Thursday to help with Jack.
