It's Tube Time!

I never thought I would be this excited to schedule my 7 month old daughter for surgery. We have a history of ear infections with Jack. I think it was 6 ear infections before he finally got tubes put in at 10 months. Maggie has had 4 back to back ear infections and is finally scheduled for surgery to get tubes put in. I'm hoping this may be the end of the night wakings. Her pediatrician's theory is that the pressure builds up in her ears while she is laying flat and that wakes her up. That is why she's been waking up twice a night for the last 4 months. He better be right! I'm ready for a good night's sleep. So surgery is scheduled for Thursday (she'll be 8 months old on Thursday) at 8am. Say a little prayer for my baby girl.
